Himalayan 440 bookings halted

RE Himalayan 440 Bookings Halted – 6 Months Of Stock Sold Out

  • Strong demand has made Royal Enfield to halt the bookings for Himalayan 440
  • Six months of stock has been sold out and Royal Enfield is all set to increase the production of 440

On 4 September 2026 Royal Enfield launched the much awaited Himalayan 440 at a price of ₹2.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike has received a great response from customers as in just few weeks of launch six months of Himalayan 440 stock has been sold out prompting Royal Enfield to temporarily halt the bookings for the Himalayan 440.

In its official statement the company said that the demand has exceeded initial expectations and delivery for those customers who’ve already booked the bike is being prioritised. Additionally Royal Enfield also plans to increase the production of Himalayan 440 only then fresh bookings will be accepted. However exact timeline for the same hasn’t been revealed yet.

Himalayan 440 gets the same engine as of the Scram 440 which puts out 25.4 HP and 34 Nm. It gets 6th-gear which was missing on Himalayan 411. Customers always wanted the Himalayan in its original form and Royal Enfield made a right move sensing the same but seems like they underestimated the demand for the bike. As Himalayan 440 is an hard-core adventure bike it gets 21-inch front wheels as compared to 19-inchers on the road-focused Scram 440. However alloy wheels are on offer with Scram but this isn’t the case with Himalayan.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES. THANK YOU!
