Aprilia SXR GT 125 & SXR GT 175 Revealed for India

Ahead of launch of Honda ADV 160 which is delayed for early 2027, Aprilia has unveiled SXR GT 125 and SXR GT 175 for Indian market just before the commencement of festive season in the country. Bookings are underway for both models. Both scooters are available in three colours – Matte Black, Glossy Azzurro, and Glossy White.
The SXR GT 125 gets a 125cc engine that puts out 10.6 PS and 10.4 Nm while SXR GT 175 gets a 175cc engine that makes 13.3 PS and 14.14 Nm. These are the same engines that power that Aprilia’s SR range of scooters.
Both scooters get telescopic front and rear monoshock suspension and rides on 14-inch alloy wheels. For braking 220 mm front disc and 140 mm drum brakes are on offer on both models. Both scooters get LED lights on both front and rear and tall windscreen.
On SXR GT 175 a 5-inch TFT console with phone connectivity is on offer while SXR GT 125 gets a 5-inch LED console without any connectivity. ABS is on offer only with GT 175 while GT 125 gets CBS for safe braking. Both scooters are maxi-scooters and are designed for comfortable riding and practicality.
Price of both scooters has been revealed. It starts at ₹1.11 Lakh for SXR GT 125 and ₹1.31 Lakh for SXR GT 175. GT 125 will go against the likes of Suzuki Burgman 125 while GT 175 will rival Hero Xoom 160 and upcoming Honda ADV 160.
