Hyundai Bayon India Launch On 26 Oct – Europe Gets N Line Variant
- Hyundai Bayon is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 115 PS and 144 Nm, same engine powers the Creta
- Bookings for the Bayon are underway at ₹11,000 and prices will be revealed on 26 October
Hyundai next big bet for Indian market – the Bayon is all set to launch on 26 October. Bookings for the Indian-spec Bayon is underway at a token amount of ₹11,000. World premiere of the car has taken place in Paris. The Indian-spec Bayon will be different from global model, but by what extent we’ll only get to know on 26 October.

Hyundai Bayon Engine & Gearbox
Powering the Bayon will be a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with 115 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. Hyundai will offer manual and CVT gearbox options on the SUV. It is likely that Hyundai will launch the more powerful and fun to drive Bayon N Line variant as well but at a later stage. Globally Hyundai Bayon N Line has already been revealed and will go on sale in European markets first. CNG option too is expected on the Bayon in India but not soon.

Hyundai Bayon – Exterior
Bayon in India is the first car to debut the Art of Steel design language by Hyundai. The car measures 4.2-metres and will sit between Creta and Venue. Bayon gets split headlight setup and H-edged LED DRLs. To give the car more crossover type stance Hyundai has used silver-black body cladding all around the car and has offered roof-mounted spoiler. The “BAYON” lettering at rear of the car looks good and we can see rear parking sensors and wipers in the official images.

Hyundai Bayon – Interior
It is the first car from Hyundai in India to offer Generative AI voice assistant which allows users to have natural conversations with the car and to pass instructions. One thing to note here is the Generative AI voice supports english language only. Apart from this Hyundai is offering more than 70-connected features on Bayon through its Bluelink technology.
Dual 12.3-inch display in the Bayon serves as both infotainment and digital instrument cluster. Going against the trend Hyundai has kept physical buttons intact rather than relying solely on screens. More than 500 voice commands on the Bayon will work without an internet connection.

Hyundai is using Global K Enhanced Platform for enhanced safety in Bayon. Highly likely the car will get 5-star Bharat NCAP rating and in coming days or at launch we could get official statement from Hyundai regarding the same. We expect the car to be priced from ₹9 lakh to ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom). Huge booking numbers are expected for the Bayon as buzz for the Hyundai s newest product is quite high in the market.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES. THANK YOU!
