Honda To Reveal Zero Alpha Electric SUV on 2 December in India

  • Honda started testing of Zero Alpha Electric SUV in India earlier this year
  • In October 2025 Honda showed Zero Alpha Electric SUV as a concept at Japan Mobility Show

Honda is all set to launch its first fully electric SUV in India on 2 December. It goes with the name of Zero Alpha Electric SUV and it was first showcased at Japan Mobility Show in October 2025. Earlier this year Honda announced the testing of Zero Alpha electric suv in India. Since then the car has been spied multiple times. Now nearly seven months after the official announcement we’ve got official unveil date for the electric vehicle.

Honda Zero Alpha electric suv – What to expect?

As compared to regular electric vehicles the Zero Alpha stands out in terms of design. It carries Honda’s global design language. Spacious cabin space is prioritised while designing the SUV something which is only available in MG Windsor EV. Spyshots suggests that the car will get large touchscreen embedded controls instead of little or no physical buttons.

Battery capacity, range and power figures are still under wraps untill 2nd December. We expect no major design changes on Zero Alpha EV as compared to what Honda showed at Japan Mobility Show last year. Upright SUV type stance is confirmed and to give the Zero Alpha proper SUV look Honda will be adding flared body arches and side black cladding on the car.

Honda Zero Alpha Electric SUV will entirely be manufactured in India and will be exported globally as well. Tata Sierra EV and Mahindra BE6 will be the biggest rivals of the Honda Zero Alpha Electric SUV in India. It’ll be interesting to see the pricing and specifications of the vehicle.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES. THANK YOU!
