Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG Launch on 15 October – 1.2L Turbo-Petrol
- The XUV 3XO will be the 3rd compact SUV to offer the CNG powertrain option alongside the Nexon and Brezza
- Mahindra already offers the XUV 3XO in two Turbo-Petrol, one diesel and EV options
Amid rising popularity of CNG cars Mahindra has decided to launch the CNG version of XUV 3XO on 15 October. The XUV 3XO will be the third card in its segment to offer CNG option along with Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Tata Nexon compact SUV.

CNG car sales growth
In August 2026 CNG car sales in india stood at 1.05 lakh models in which Maruti has a highest market share of 70%. On year-on-year basis CNG car sales grew by 46% all thanks to the rising concerns about E20 petrol pushing customers to go for other fuel choices such as CNG or EV.
Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG – What to expect?
It is likely that Mahindra will offer the XUV 3XO CNG in 1.2-litre Turbo-Petrol option with different power and torque figures. Exact specifications for the car will be revealed on 15 October only. The XUV 3XO already has a smallest boot in its segment so it’ll be interesting to see how they re-enginner the boot space of the car. We expect the pricing to be ₹1 lakh more than the outgoing model. As of now the XUV 3XO is priced between ₹7.80 lakh (ex-showroom) to ₹15.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch it’ll rival obviously the Maruti Brezza CNG and Tata Nexon CNG.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES. THANK YOU!
