For comparison the Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Grand Vitara offers a fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl. The company calls the Hybrid tech an E-tech system which seems to be inspired from Formula 1.
The Renault Duster Hybrid will get 1.8-litre 4-cylinder NA petrol engine along with two electric motors putting out 20 HP and 49 HP respectively making the car to have a combined output of 160 HP and 172 Nm. A 1.4 kWh battery pack will be on offer here which doesn’t requires charging as the car will be a strong hybrid. Renault says that the car has a ability to automatically switch engine drive, battery drive or both depending on conditions.

Prices of the car hasn’t been revealed yet. Maruti Grand Vitara price is in between 10.80 lakh to ₹19.80 lakh (ex-showroom) while Toyota Hyryder retails between 11.31 lakh to ₹20 .31 lakh (ex-showroom).
