Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the much awaited Bonnevilee T40 in India. The bike is launched in three variants – Bonnevilee T40, Bonnevilee T40 Black and least priced Bonnevilee T4 . All variants get a 350cc single-cylinder liquid cooled engine that puts out 29 HP of power and 31.2 Nm of torque and comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox. A classic appeal is very striking on all variants without any compromise on features except on Bonnevilee T4 variant.

Triumph Bonnevilee T40 and T40 Black gets 4-inch colour TFT display and five different riding modes. Triumph is offering cruise control as standard on both variants. Triumph Bonnevilee T40 Black is essentially a blacked out version of Bonnevilee T40 which is available in three dual-tone colours – Meriden blue / Tangerine, Aegean blue / Fusion white and Fusion white / Phantom black.
Telescopic front (43 mm) and rear twin-shock absorbers (130 mm) are on offer here while for braking 310 mm front disc and 250 mm rear disc brakes are available. Triumph is offering spoked wheels and tubed tyres on T4 and T40. One thing to notice here is the T4 gets a slimmer 140-section rear tyre unlike the T40 which gets 150-section rear tyre. The Bonnevilee T40 and T4 weighs 195 kg which may feel slightly heavy for some buyers. Both bikes get 14.5-litres of fuel tank and seat height of 790 mm. Ground clearance on both bikes stand at 165 mm.

What really makes T4 and T40 different is availability of TFT console with smartphone connectivity which is available on T40 while T4 gets a normal looking LCD display with a turn-by-turn navigation. Cruise control and IMU feature is also missing on T4 but the bike gets 5-riding modes in which three are Road, Rain, Eco and two are customisable ones and ABS. Triumph has launched the Bonnevilee T4 only for the price sensitive Indian market. Just like T40 it gets solid three colour options – Black, Green and Red.
Price of Bonnevilee T4 is ₹2.55 lakh (ex-showroom) while Bonnevilee T40 will retail at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It is obvious that Honda CB350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be the biggest rivals of both models. Deliveries of T4 will start from January 2027 while T40 deliveries will begin in November itself.
